Having air conditioning was once considered a luxury in many areas but now is considered a necessity especially in warm climates that are only getting hotter. Global warming has changed the climate and temperatures all across the nation and most areas are warmer than they were just ten years ago. To combat the increasing temperatures, it is important to have your current HVAC system cleaned and maintained by a Fort Myers AC repair company or get your current one fixed and parts replaced by a Fort Myers AC replacement. It may also be a good idea to get a new air conditioning system for your savings, the environment and your health too.
If your home does not have central air conditioning installed in it it may be time to consider doing so. Many states that were once consistently cooler and never needed air conditioning are now feeling the heat, literally. Two examples are the mountainous states like Vermont and Colorado. As early as just ten years ago, many new homes were being built without central air conditioning because it seemed like something that would never be used. The temperatures rarely get out of the 70’s in the summer and the evening got quite cool and comfortable to sleep through. Now, it is quite common to have temperatures in the 90’s frequently in the summer and those homes are roasting with heat.
Another thing that is important to do would be to have your existing air conditioning unit serviced and cleaned every couple of years. The amount of money that service would cost would be saved in the following couple of years by how much more efficiently the unit would be and that would save on the energy bills. It will also help to prolong the life of your HVAC unit and this too will help you to save money in the long run.
Some air conditioning and heating units are so old that they are not very efficient and in addition to not keeping your house very comfortable it is costing you more money on the energy bill too. Currently, President Obama is offering a tax break if you replace your less efficient HVAC unit with one that has the energy star logo on it because they are also better for the environment. If you purchase a new more efficient system, not only will you save money and receive a bonus back but it is better for the environment too.
Many people with health problems, particularly those living in warmer climates should consider getting air conditioning and maybe a better heating system too for their health. A lot of people that are suffering from life long illnesses have a weaker immune system and get hot or cold more easily leading them to further illness. Neurological illnesses like multiple sclerosis are quite affected by extreme heat and when the people suffering from it get overheated, their symptoms get worse. Therefore having a air conditioner unit will keep people like this healthier.

Many people are confused about combination boilers, condensing boilers and condensing combination boilers. Many think that both of the boilers are the same, but there is a huge difference between them. Today I am going to give the complete details of combination boilers, condensing boilers and condensing combi boilers and differentiate them.
Combination boilers:
These are the boilers which provides heat without a use of any hot water tank. They don’t require any water tank in your store room, which save lots of space in your house. Generally combi boilers are wall mounted boilers, which can be mounted on any wall in your house. They occupy very less space in your house. They can be fitted in your kitchen cupboards.
They use the technology which heats the water instantly and give you a comfort shower or hot water in your house. By heating the water instantly, these type of boilers save the energy and money which is generally wasted for heating a tank of water that is not used. Most of the modern day combination boilers are 90% energy efficient, saving energy, environment and your energy bills.
The main advantages of using combination boilers for your homes are:
• Suitable for small houses and flats
• By using them you get instant hot water at a required pressure giving you the warm water in your shower and taps
• The main advantage of using combi boilers is that they are very easy to install and don’t cause much disturbance
• By using them in your house, you can save all the space which is generally occupied by hot want tank
• Most of the boilers are 90% energy efficient, saving your energy bills and environment
Even with many advantages there are some disadvantages, they are:
• Combi boilers are not suitable for house with more that 2 or more bathrooms
• They are more expensive when compared to other heating boilers
• Another major disadvantage is that: when 2 taps are opened then the water flow drops which may annoy you
Condensing boilers:
These are the most energy efficient boilers presently available in the market. These types of boilers are 93% energy efficient saving your energy bills and saving the environment. They use the similar technology used in conventional boilers, but the main different is that, condensing boilers reduces the heat from the flue gases from approximately 300 degrees to 50 degrees, condensing out the vapor produced by combustion of the fuels. In condensing boilers the heat exchanger is bit larger or there may be a second heat exchanger which hunts down the heat which is not recovered by the main heat exchanger.
By using the second heat exchanger or large exchanger they becomes more energy efficient than conventional boilers. Generally condensing are 93% energy efficient where as conventional boilers are only 78%. But the main disadvantage of condensing boilers over conventional boilers is the price. They are about £300 – £400 more expensive than the conventional boilers.
Condensing Combination boilers:
Condensing combination boiler is mixer of condensing and combination boilers. It uses the both technologies of condensing and combi becoming the most energy efficient boilers in the market at the moment. They doesn’t require any hot water tank or cylinder like condensing boilers. But the mail disadvantage of using them is its price. They are more expensive than condensing boilers.
The best selling condensing combination boilers in the present market are Vaillant combi boilers, Worcester combi boilers, Ariston Combi boilers, Glow-Worm Combi boilers, Ideal combi boilers, Baxi Combi boilers and many more.
